Required Skills
Essential - Excellent working knowledge of Windows (advanced knowledge of Excel)

Description
Our growing business, which specializes in the distribution and import of food brands recognized worldwide, is seeking an accounting analyst for their service accounts. This position is a replacement for maternity leave.

Job Summary:

The person working with the controller, is responsible for creating, producing and analyzing various reports and special projects in order to identify opportunities for improvement for the management team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyzing daily reports of sales and gross profit margins and verifying the accuracy of charges and credits

• Print the graphical representations of sales

• Audit sales and gross profit reports daily

• Balance and report variances to Information Services

• Participating in special projects

• Obtaining, maintaining and balancing monthly trade agreements concluded with customers

• Filling out reports from Statistics Canada

• Encoding and approving promotional bills

• Balancing and closing the books on monthly expenditures on promotions

• Generating and billing invoices to suppliers on a monthly basis

• Volume discounts

• Contract management

• Distributing codes for new chains

• Expense reports

• Checking calculations and codification

• Planning electronic funds transfers, sending payment details to the persons concerned

• Credit card, checking billing

• Reconciliation of the invoice with receipts

• Entering data into the system for payment and all other related duties.
